Chung Jye Investment Holding 1Q26 Investor Conference Press Release

May 27, 2026

Chung Jye Investment Holding Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 6965) convened its 1Q26 institutional investor conference today. The Group stated that while near-term operations remain prudent due to macro uncertainty, the company will maintain its established capital expenditure plans, expand its operational scale, and deepen its long-term four-base manufacturing footprint across China, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia to seize market opportunities upon industry rebound.

Looking into the year, second-quarter orders are trending near full capacity; however, influenced by macroeconomic conditions and subdued consumer sentiment, brand customers remain conservative in placement visibility for the second half. The current strategic priority focuses on maintaining capacity utilization, vigorously pursuing new brand accounts and fresh orders, striving to keep 2026 revenue comparable to the prior year. Facing raw material volatility and terminal demand slowdown, Chung Jye continues to push forward its internal “StridePlus” operational efficiency optimization initiative to mitigate headwinds.

In terms of long-term development strategy, Chung Jye continues expanding operational scale and deepening production capacity in China, Vietnam, India, and Indonesia. Backed by a healthy and resilient balance sheet, the Group is well-positioned to execute planned capital expenditures on schedule, positioning itself to rapidly gain market share when demand rebounds.

Liu An-Che, Chairman and CEO of Chung Jye Group, stated: “When an industry encounters headwinds, it often creates an opportune moment for supply chain reshuffling and market share redistribution. Historically, when cycles turn upward, revenues often witness surges exceeding 50%. While customers remain cautious today, advancing our multi-region footprint is critical to capturing growth first and narrowing the gap with top industry peers.”

Strategically, the Group leverages multi-country manufacturing to deepen customer partnerships. The India facility is preparing for new brand accounts catering to local demand. Furthermore, the “StridePlus” initiative launched last year, now steered by a dedicated management team, is yielding tangible improvements across customer acquisition, capacity scheduling, and supplier management, while expanded automation deployment optimizes operating profitability.

Regarding capacity planning, 2026 CapEx is projected between US$20 million and US$28 million. Indonesia remains a key focus: the East Java plant broke ground in late October 2025, with initial capacity expected between late 2026 and early 2027. The Bac Kan plant in Vietnam began production in 3Q25 with 112k pairs of knit uppers annually, with small-batch assembled shoe shipments beginning in December 2025. The India plant produced ~600k pairs in 2025 and is projected to reach 1.9 million pairs in 2026, heading toward full capacity of 2.1 million pairs.

Long-term, Chung Jye targets exceeding 80 million pairs in annual shipments within a decade (by 2034) while maintaining a long-term ROE target above 20%.

For 1Q26, consolidated revenue was NT$4.79 billion, down 21.7% YoY. Gross margin stood at 10.1%. Operating loss was NT$81 million. Net loss attributable to parent was NT$101 million, with an EPS of -NT$0.64.
